Why use Square-iz™

Square-iz™ is a domestic electric timer for UK mains powered items rated at up to 13 amps. It is particularly suitable for restricting the use of electrical devices by children.

With the development of cheap TV sets, satellite receivers, computers and games consoles, children can spend large amounts of time playing computer games or watching television. In some cases this can broaden their education or improve co-ordination, but it is more likely that a lack of exercise and creative thinking will be bad for health.

Square-iz™ provides a lockable casing and an electronic timer, with a small padlock which prevents the electrical device from being removed from the timer. Square-iz™ prevents the timer settings from being adjusted when the lockable casing is secured which restricts the amount of time the connected device can be used.

In addition, Square-iz™ has numerous other applications. Controlling the use of music systems or powerful amplifiers, restricting the use of digital or satellite receivers and DVD players, to name but a few..... and to turn lamps on and off automatically at home when you are away on holiday.
